How to hear your intuition - based on your human design

We are so smart that we actually override the most intelligent resources that we have!
I have SO MANY conversations where my clients say "I have a feeling it will be fine, but I can't stop obsessing over it!" or "I had a clear intuitive hit, but I didn't listen to it because it didn't make sense."
Ever been there? I have!
Our intuition is our superpower - it knows more than we know and it is always guiding us toward our highest and best - but it can be hard to hear, hard to listen to, and hard to know what is intuition and what is fear, programming, or logic.
In human design, we have our "authority" which tells us how we best make decisions. Depending on your authority - your intuition may actually sound or feel differently than someone else's!

Emotional Authority: People with Emotional Authority are guided by their emotional response to situations. Their intuition is closely linked to their emotional waves, which can range from high to low. These individuals need to wait for clarity in their emotions before making decisions. Decisions made during an emotional high or low point may not be in their best interest, so they should take time to ride through their emotional waves before acting.
Sacral Authority: Sacral Authority is prevalent in Generators and Manifesting Generators. (its what I have so its very special to me!) It's based on the "sacral response," a gut-level, instinctual feeling. When they're faced with a choice, they should listen to their gut's response, which can be a "uh-huh" (an affirmative sound) or an "uh-uh" (a negative sound). This gut feeling is their intuitive guide. I feel an actual pull in my gut that almost moves me forward or backward. This energy is very much "if it's not a hell yes, its a hell no."
Splenic Authority: People with Splenic Authority have an intuitive knowing that is very soft, quiet, and most easily associated with how we think of intuition. They have soft initial, in-the-moment impressions to make decisions. It's an immediate and instinctual response to a situation. It can be hard to hear because its soft and in the moment. If you have a splenic authority its critical to get calm in your body so you can hear your intuition!
Ego Authority: Ego Authority individuals make decisions based on a sense of self-worth and empowerment. They need to feel a strong sense of "being in the right place at the right time" or a deep sense of "yes" before making choices. It's an intuition that arises from their inner confidence and self-assuredness. Does this choice make you more confident and more yourself? Then it's right. "What you want IS your intuition." With this type, it is 100% in your design to look at something and think "I want that" and then follow that. (tbh kind of wish I had this type - sounds so fun.) Stop judging what you want!
G-Center Authority: G-center individuals should verbalize their thoughts and ideas to a receptive, inviting audience to better hear their intuition. Through the act of speaking and interaction, they gain clarity and intuition about their decisions. It's like talking it out to see how it feels. It's about talking it out AND hearing yourself talk. While other types need to listen to themselves more - it's actually very helpful for you to talk about it with several folks.
Lunar Authority: This authority is super rare because it's only found in Reflectors who are about 1% of the population. Lunar Authority is based on the phases of the moon and is primarily found in Reflectors. These individuals should give themselves a lunar cycle, about 28 days, to make significant decisions. Their intuition waxes and wanes with the moon's phases, so they need to see how they feel throughout a complete lunar cycle. It takes time to hear your intuition - and that's ok! "Let time show you the answers."
Mental Authority: This authority is the only authority that uses a mix of logic and intuition. This type is only found in Projectors and if you have this authority you're a "mental projector" and have a strong connection to two distinctive parts of your mind - the thinking mind and the intuitive mind. The key here is to be able to differentiate between the two! You see the world in a totally different way than others do, so it's important to observe what's going on, think about it, and tap into that part of you that just knows. Don't overrule it with logic and facts - trust that deep knowing, my baby.
It's important to note that even if you have one particular authority - you may still hear your intuition in different ways. For example - I'm a generator and I go with my gut, but I also experience my intuition through soft voices that come in at unexpected times, which is much like a splenic authority.
